In an exclusive interview with RadarOnline.com, Twilight cutie Jackson Rathbone opened up on everything from his love of Vanilla Ice to which of his co-stars can bench-press the most weight. And he also shared a super-cute family photo, taken when he was just a tot!
RadarOnline: Your character in Twilight, Jasper, is so withdrawn and cold. Do you think fans are a little hesitant to approach you in public? Especially compared with some of your castmates?
Jackson Rathbone: People rarely recognize me, which is actually pretty sweet. I try to change my look in every role I take on: clothing, hairstyle, walk, facial expression, and the way I speak. Sometimes it's subtle and sometimes it's not, but as I am not a blonde in real life, people often do the double look before approaching me.
RO: You said in a recent interview that all the Cullen guys worked out together in the hotel gym during filming. So tell us: who can bench press the most?
JR: That would be Kellan [Lutz]. He truly is Emmett.
RO: You live in a house with other members of your band, 100 Monkeys, in Hollywood. What’s the hardest part about being roomies with two other guys?
JR: The smell.

Jackson Rathbone likes to protect his sister from bad guys.
Jackson told Seventeen magazine: "When it comes to my sisters' boyfriends, I'm either cool with them or my sisters know that I hate them.
"I'm pretty blunt with them and to the point.
"Back in high school, there were a couple of boys my sisters had and man, I let them know I didn't like them.
"I was pretty upfront but my dad always had it right. Whenever my sisters brought them over to the house for the first time, he'd be teaching me how to clean the shotguns."
Robert Pattinson is the youngest in his family so didn't really have a problem when he met his sisters' boyfriends.

Jackson Rathbone loved transforming into Jasper Hale.
When Teen mag asked Jackson if he enjoyed changing his appearance to play Jasper he replied: "I really enjoyed it.
"I was always a character actor when I was in theatre. I kind of find that it helps the audience, especially with Jasper.
"I mean I'm not actually blonde so I had to bleach my hair blonde. I'm fairly pale. I'm more of an indoor sports kind of guy.
"I'm a musician so I spent most of my time awake at night and in the recording studio tucked away from the sun.
"But I really do love to change appearances for a lot of the characters I play."
We loved Jackson in Twilight and can't wait to see him in New Moon.

The stars came out and showcased some previously unseen footage for the first taping of the MTV movie special.
 BEVERLY HILLS, California The Fine Arts Theatre was rocking tonight, as MTV, "Twilight" and hundreds of shrieking Twilighters packed a taping for MTV's new movies show, "Spoilers." Needless to say, a dazzling night was had by all.
Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, Kellan Lutz, Peter Facinelli, Jackson Rathbone, Taylor Lautner, Ashley Greene, Edi Gathegi and "Twilight" director Catherine Hardwicke were all in attendance as MTV paid tribute to the highly anticipated film, coming to theaters November 21.

 Jackson Rathbone, 23, plays Jasper Cullen, Alice’s vampire love, who has a strong conscience. Rathbone had the lead role on the television series Beautiful People and a part on The O.C.
VF Daily: Had you read the Twilight books before getting the script?
Jackson Rathbone: No, but many friends of mine had and filled me in on the story. Then I read Twilight and I saw what all the fuss was about. Once I landed the role of Jasper, all my cousins wrote meI have a huge familyand told me how excited they were that I was in the movie because they loved the books so much.
What did you do to prepare for your role?
I ate my steaks blood rare.

 This Twilight hottie opens up about girls, being a rebel and the role he's dying to play!
1. When was your first kiss?
When I was 13, I was dating a girl two years older than me. We were in a movie theater and got about thirty minutes into the movie (Titanic) and she made the first move. I was very shy and probably wouldn't have ever made the first move, so, well, it rocked my world. We dated on and off for two years. I heard she recently got married, so I won't say her name, but she still holds a special place in my heart.
2. Who's your celebrity crush?
Bryce Dallas Howard. I think she's an incredible actress and such a beautiful young woman. I also think she's way out of my league, so I'll just keep dreaming.
3. What's a girl fashion trend that confuses you?
In LA summer's blistering heat, I've seen many girls wearing short skirts with Ugg boots. I like the boots, and the short skirts, but I've always wondered, don't their feet get hot?
4. What's the chick flick you secretly love?
The Notebook. It's incredibly well acted and written, but it's definitely a chick flick.
5. What's your TV guilty pleasure?
"Blind Date" - I like the pop-up commentary, but it's an awful show.
