SYNOPSIS: After Bella Swan recovers from her run in with a vampire with a lust for the hunt and her blood, she celebrates her 18th birthday with her vampire boyfriend Edward Cullen and his human-friendly "family." However, an accident during her birthday party results in Bella's blood being spilled and the newest vampire in the family, Jasper, finds it hard to resist. Edward realizes that he and his family have endangered Bella's life with their very presense and so he decides that erasing his family (and himself) from her life would be the best for thing for her. Edward leaves Bella with only one request: that she not put her self in danger. Completely devastated by the loss of her true love, Bella finds friendship with Jacob Black and also realizes that, against Edward's wishes, putting her life in danger through daredevil antics helps her get through this tough time.
