Kellan Lutz Spills About The "New Moon" Set
02 Jul 2009 | Comments (0)
OK Magazine
You know, sometimes amid all this Robert Pattinson Mania, we forget just how darn hot his Twilight and New Moon co-star Kellan Lutz is. Shame on us!
But a photo shoot he just did with heiress and model Lydia Hearst for Social Life magazine has certainly reminded us.
Check out this extract from the accompanying interview from their July 4th issue to find out how Kellan gets those abs, and what it's like to work up-close with (gasp!) R-Patts himself!
What is your typical day like on the set of New Moon, the sequel to Twilight?
New Moon was a very relaxed film to work on and it all starts with how easy going director Chris Wietz is. That vibe rolls down to the crew and actors. It makes it so easy when we've all worked together before. Everything was so well organized, making it easy for the actors to do our job. We had more time to just laugh and make jokes and hang out; it's important to have a cast that gels the way we do and you'll see that more in the second film.

Peter Facinelli Makes Good on Twitter Bet
01 Jul 2009 | Comments (0)
People.com What connects Beyoncé's "Single Ladies," a grown man dancing down Hollywood Boulevard in a bikini, a line of vampire fans and a $10,000 donation to the Christopher Reeve Foundation?
Why, Twilight star Peter Facinelli's Twitter page, of course.
Facinelli signed autographs for free at the Affliction clothing store on Melrose Avenue in Los Angeles Tuesday as a give back to fans who helped him win a bet with his friend Rob DeFranco that he couldn't get 500,000 Twitter followers. "I kind of took this little bet, that was a silly little thing and I tried to make something positive out of it," Facinelli told PEOPLE.
The bet was initially started when DeFranco asked Facinelli if he could have Facinelli's on-set Twilight director's chair, which had Facinelli's name and the film's logo on it. Facinelli said "no" to his friend, but gave it away anyway after holding a free online drawing where fans around the country could register to win the unique item.
Rob DeFranco paid off his end of the bet too when he was forced to dance down Hollywood Blvd. Tuesday morning wearing a bikini and singing "Single Ladies," a fate chosen by his "sick and twisted Twitter followers," Facinelli said, adding, "who I love dearly."
Affliction also donated $10,000 to the Christopher Reeve Foundation on behalf of Facinelli's Twitter followers. At the signing Facinelli hugged fans, and even told one girl who was nearly hyperventilating as he signed her homemade poster that she's "very, very sweet."
"If I showed up today and there were three people you know it'd be really silly," Facinelli said. "It'd be me with a magic marker twiddling my thumbs. So I'm really happy that they came out."
I apologize for the lack of updates and my long absence from the site. My move took a lot of time, and I am still not settled and mix that with lack of internet connection and going on vacation, the site was pushed to the side.
Now I am back and I am going to work hard at getting caught up!

5 Secrets of the Twilight Cast Revealed
10 Jun 2009 | Comments (0)
This article was at People.com and I thought it was great and had to share!
So you're young, good looking and you've spent the day channeling a blood-sucking vampire or morphing into a werewolf on the set of one of the most widely anticipated films of the year. What do you do for fun?
All sorts of things, according to cast members of the Twilight series, the second of which, New Moon, recently wrapped after shooting on location in Canada and Italy. Here, actors in both films dish on some of the facts – and fiction – about the lives of the Twilight stars.
Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart Have Hidden Talents "Rob's an incredible guitarist and vocalist. [And] Kristen can really play guitar," reveals Jackson Rathbone, 24, who plays vampire Jasper Hale. "They're really multi-talented artists."
In fact, the cast's musical interests helped the everyone bond, says Rathbone, a member of the band 100 Monkeys: "Rob Pattinson and Kristen and Nikki [Reed] would do a lot of jam sessions, and Kellan [Lutz] and Ashley [Greene] and Peter [Facinelli] would all hang out in the hotel room and play music and hang out on the set."
Kristen and Rob Have Chemistry – On and Off Screen The pair – who play a couple on screen – were seen smooching in Vancouver recently, but their cast mates insist there is no hot-and-heavy romance – yet, anyway.
"Obviously there's chemistry: They're Bella and Edward!" says Justine Wachsberger, 24, who plays vampire sympathizer Gianna in the film. But "they just seem like great friends."
Rathbone adds that whenever the cast is together, Pattinson and Stewart "didn't treat each other any differently [than the other cast members]. We're all equals in the room. It's like a family.”
The Most Talked-About Relationship on Set Was ... a Bromance "Me and Mike [Welch] (Mike Newton in New Moon)," jokes Justin Chon, 28, who plays Bella's pal Eric Yorkie. "Me and Mike had a bromance. We just loved to hang out together and talk about stupid things."
The Cast Is Still Grounded Twilight actors with big and small roles all hang together at least part of the time, and they shared a love of exploring the beauty of the locations in Canada and Italy.
"You would expect diva behavior from them since they're so big now, but they're really nice and down to earth," says Wachsberger.
Fans Should Be Salivating for New Moon "I think it's going to be better than the first one," says Chon. "I think [director] Chris Weitz is going to do a really good job with it. I was really impressed. I think it's going to be amazing."
Adds Wachsberger: "I can't give away any spoilers, but expect the unexpected."
